I came to Marshall Lifestyle Medicine on the advice of several of my friends. I was 43, recently divorced, and was curious what Dr. Mullins could do to help me regain my confidence and help me shed some unwanted pounds that had snuck on me over the years. I was blown away by how friendly the staff was and how thorough and caring the initial consultation was with Dr. Mullins. After more than an hour, I realized that I had already spent more time with him than I had with my regular doctor in the past 5 years. I left with clear understanding of the changes I needed to make in my life and the role he and his team would play in re-energizing my life.
I took advantage of many of their programs. I had my first facial, even had my first Botox experience. 3 months after the start of my program, I had lost 35 pounds, decreased my body fat to 13% (down from 30 something), was sleeping better, was less stressed and could tell that I was ready to get back into the single world. My parents made me an appointment to see the Marshall Team because I gained a significant amount of weight while away at college. I took part of the young adult medical fitness program. Dr. Mullins prescribed me medications to help facilitate weight loss but the part that helped the most is when I met with Chesney. She helped me with meal planning and helped me develop strategies for when I return to college, so I do not fall back into unhealthy patterns.
I did personal training twice a week and am proud to say that I lost all the college 20 weight plus an additional 5 pounds. It was an incredibly fun experience.
