Hormone Health Prolongs Health Span

Hormone Balance For Women

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has a controversial history due to

misrepresentation in the media. The first published results from the Women’s Health Initiative in 2002 were flawed, leading to a whole generation of women being suddenly taken off HRT and doctors ceasing to prescribe it. Since that paper 20 years ago, updated research has disproved the initial results using the same data. Recent studies show HRT use in early postmenopausal women has

beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system, effectively reducing coronary artery disease and all-cause mortality. .is data does not include the many ways women have been mismanaged with

respect to their moods, weight, sleep, sexual health, and countless other signs and symptoms that are driven by hormone changes.

"Right now, the best treatment for postmenopausal women to mitigate the

dramatic health risks is hormone replacement therapy (HRT). We know

that replacing a few of those hormones—usually estrogen, progesterone

and low-dose testosterone—can dramatically and beneficially impact

women’s overall health."

Treating Menopause / Perimenopause

Women truly suffer as they age. The effects of hormone decline are often devastating. The physical and mental tole associated with fluctuations and decline of their sex hormones is hard to understand unless they have been experienced first-hand. Providing hormone replacement therapy to women can be tricky and should not be left to a provider who is inexperienced. With proper management and a personalized approach, most women can regain the feelings of their youth.

Estradiol

Estradiol is used to reduce hot flashes, help with brain fog, decrease vaginal dryness, improve bone density, and

protect the brain and heart. When combined with Progesterone in the proper proportions, menopausal women feel more balanced. Estradiol should not be taken orally and is generally given in the form of pellets or trans dermally in a cream.

Progesterone

Progesterone can reduce hot flashes, help with brain fog, promote restful sleep, and helps to balance the effects of

Estrogen. Progesterone is generally administered orally but can also be given trans dermally in a cream.

Testosterone Cypionate

Testosterone has many beneficial properties for men and women. In addition to reducing the incidence of diabetes and heart disease, Testosterone promotes lean muscle mass at the expense of fat, reduces mid-section fat accumulation, increases bone density, libido, mood, sleep quality, energy, and well-being.
